Churchfield House, in Welwyn Garden City, is located in the conservation area very near the town centre.

Churchfield House, which was recently extensively refurbished, has its own Scheme Manager. The Scheme Manager's role is to ensure all residents at Churchfield House receive the help and support they might need to live independently.

There are 12 one and 8 two bedroom flats at Churchfield House, as well as 3 studio flats.

All properties benefit from modern kitchens and bathrooms, central heating, double glazing, a door entry system, high standards of insulation and a "call system". This is operational 24 hours a day, connecting you directly to the Scheme Manager, or the Central Control facility operated by Welwyn Hatfield Council. All properties are accessible by a lift and most flats have a walk-in shower.

Churchfield House benefits from an onsite laundry, car parking, storage for motorised buggies, a well maintained garden and recently refurbished communal areas.

Churchfield House has a well appointed communal lounge. The lounge provides a meeting place for the social activities that the residents of Churchfield House organise on a regular basis.

The rents at Churchfield House, as at April 2009, were around £393.50 per month for a one bedroom flat and £429.30 per month for a two bedroom flat. Service charges are payable in addition to rent.

Some residents at Churchfield House are in receipt of housing benefit and the Housing Association positively encourages, and assists, all residents to make an application.
