Elizabeth House (Care Home), Welwyn Garden City

Elizabeth House aims to provide the highest standards of residential care to those people aged 65 and over.

Situated in the Panshanger area of Welwyn Garden City, Elizabeth House has been fully refurbished to provide the very highest standards of amenities, to complement its first class reputation for the highest standards of care.

Elizabeth House was awarded a status of Good following its CQC inspection in March 2016 and scored in excess of 90% following a recent contract review by Herts County Council.

Elizabeth House remains one of only a handful of care homes in the area that accepts residents funded by Herts County Council.

Because Elizabeth House is a care home, not a nursing home, we are unable to accept applications from people who have been assessed as needing nursing care.

Elizabeth House has an active Friends of Elizabeth House whose voluntary contribution is invaluable.
