Woodside House has a Scheme Manager and an Assistant Scheme Manager. Their role is to ensure all residents at Woodside House receive the help and support they might need to live independently.

There are 110 one and two bedroom flats at Woodside House, as well as some studio flats.

All properties benefit from modern kitchens and bathrooms, central heating, double glazing, high standards of insulation and a "call system". This is operational 24 hours a day, connecting you directly to the Woodside House staff, or the Central Control facility operated by Welwyn Hatfield Council. Dependent on the design of the property, most have a door entry and CCTV security system. Many flats also have a walk-in shower and most properties are accessible by a lift.

Woodside House benefits from an onsite laundry, a guest suite, ample car parking, safe storage for motorised buggies, well maintained grounds and recently refurbished communal areas.

The Jack Lee Hall provides a meeting place for the social activities that the residents of Woodside House organise on a regular basis.

The rents at Woodside House, as at April 2009, were around £363 per month for a one bedroom flat and £440 per month for a two bedroom flat. Service charges are payable in addition to rent. Some residents at Woodside House are in receipt of housing benefit and the Housing Association positively encourages, and assists, all residents to make an application.
