The edges of this waistcoat are embellished with woven leather laces, worked until tears are created and then given a clear PVC finish. The aged leather is taped and buffed by hand with glass-paper, waxed and sprayed with copper so that it resembles a Japanese By_bu. Its unusual construction features asymmetrical armholes to get the look of different skins stitched together. Grosgrain ribbon on the back and eyelet details.
